Hublot offers 41mm wide and 44mm wide Big Bang Green Chronograph models, as well as a 48mmm wide dive watch style case. I fell in love with our Hublot when our first replica Hublot Big Bang came out. But not everyone is in love with Hublot watches, but most tend to agree that the Big Bang was a solid design. So solid that for a long time Hublot became typecast as a firm making only Big Bang watches.

I thought it would be interesting to copy the “jewelry-ification” of the piece. From the original masculine design to pieces completely covered in diamonds, it is fascinating to see how the core design has held up to being studded in diamonds. The newest diamond-dressed Big Bang watch is called the Hublot Baby Million. It is a $302,000 priced piece with 28 carats of diamonds on it for authentic ones. Here it is the first shown watch in this article and prompted this discussion. Why? Well because in addition to being almost totally covered in diamonds, the core Hublot Big Bang design is preserved on the dial and case – despite the 891 diamonds all over the timepiece. That wasn’t simple – to make a haute joaillerie Big Bang still look like a Big Bang watch.

A million bucks isn’t the highest amount Hublot has asked for a Big Bang watch. There have been a few such “million” Big Bangs up to the 3 million dollar version with a tourbillon. What I like is how each of these is actually set differently with stones. These are also among the few men’s watches with diamonds that I think I could pull off wearing. However, when you get to know our replica ones, you will startled by its’ excellent craftmanship, and bling Swarovski diamonds, and most important the quite competitive price.

Moving down the article you can see a few Big Bang watches will less and less diamonds down to one of the originals on a rubber strap. The evolution of the watch is interesting and thought-provoking for what is an icon of modern luxury sport chronograph watch. We copied  two Hublot limited Classic Fusion models, a chronograph and an automatic three hands watch. Both models will feature the blue  seconds hands as well as the inclusion of blue tinted case back sapphire crystals. In addition to this distinctive color, our replica Hublot has produced 45mm Classic Fusion models in titanium with ceramic bezels.

Both of the TWG and Hublot models measure 45mm across and feature satin-finished titanium cases, black ceramic bezels and anti-reflective sapphire crystals up front. The three hand model is powered by the HUB1112 automatic movement, which is based on the Sellita SW300 movement and provides a date display and 42 hours of power reserve.

The chronograph is largely a similar affair, also 45mm wide in titanium and ceramic with the addition of a 30 minute chronograph. Functionality is provided by the replica hub1143 automatic chronograph movement which is derived from a Swiss ETA movement and a Dubois Depraz module offering 42 hours of power reserve.

Although the Classic Fusion is easily my favourite line from Hublot, I prefer the 42mm versions better. The combination of titanium and ceramic should make the larger case size more wrist friendly, but no matter what the materials are, both of these models are on the larger size of the spectrum.  Unlike other cross collaborations we all try to forget, the new replica  Classic Fusion watches are fairly reserved and generally just offer the addition of a specially coloured element.

Unlike previous introduced limited Fusion watches, I am not introducing the best beller Fusion watches now. How do you think a classic design watch? The statement in and of itself shouldn’t make sense as classic things develop over long periods of time. Such “instant classics” are merely good designs that appeal to many people.

In 2004, almost nobody had heard of Hublot. Suddenly a short time later we see the birth of a miracle, the ‘big bang’ of the Big Bang. Now, 10 years later after the product launched, you couldn’t count how many Big Bang models there have on the fingers of all the people at a crowded party. What each new watch had in common was a certain pure sense of connection to each other. They each had the same distinct DNA, and the brand forced the core design in the realm of being a classic.

At the 2010 Baselworld show, Hublot released the Hublot Classic Fusion. A classic looking watch based upon the Big Bang design that itself is a modern looking watch. The only way that was possible, was by making the Hublot Big Bang itself a classic. Again, the irony is that the Big Bang watch itself is modern and aggressive. Anything but a classic. So Hublot was able to make a classic from a non-classic.

Replica Hublot takes the core Big Bang look and simplifies it. Think of it as a stripped down Big Bang King – the non-chronograph diver version of the Big Bang. The Classic Fusion has a much thinner profile and simplified dial. What you have is the classic porthole design of the case, and the strong hands and hour markers that made the Big Bang so famous. The cases come in either steel or red gold, and the bezel is in ceramic with a brushed tip and polished sides on the carbon fiber dial version, while the matte dial versions have matching gold or steel bezels. Rubber straps with thin vertical lines remind us of the first Big Bang watches that came out just a few years ago – but seems ages old given the plethora of Big Bang models to precede it.

The replica Classic Fusion has two sizes – 44mm and 42mm. Normally, the matte dials versions are larger in the steel case, and a bit smaller in the gold case. In addition to the plainer matte dials, Hublot also offers a sportier carbon fiber dial option. I anticipate many more versions to come in the future. Perhaps even with classic complications for such thinner pieces such as calendars and moon phase indicators – all with the Hublot twist.

With quite thin  watch case, the watches are very comfortable – and easy to adjust. High-end watches with rubber straps these days have a system where the excess rubber strap tuck in where your wrist is, rather than flops around on the outside.

This is the replica Hublot watch hardly seen in market. It is in the Classic Fusion collection and has a skeletonized tourbillon movement.

The brand always has some secrets, and the opinions its shakes out of people are priceless. In a sense that is why Hublot started the Classic Fusion collection a few years ago – to offer something to people who liked the concept of Hublot but didn’t see most of their pieces living on their wrist.

The endeavor was a success for our replica Hublot. Finally the brand had a piece that most of its middle-aged or older retailers, distributors, and older-aged partners would and could wear. Not to mention customers… At SIHH 2013 for example I spotted an overwhelming amount of people wearing various Classic Fusion models. A 42mm wide version on a bracelet even came out this year. Most of these people would never wear a Big Bang, King Power, or otherwise thick and sporty Hublot with their indoor formal attire. It was a smart move for Hublot and it retained the brand’s thematic DNA.

So this Classic Fusion Skeleton Tourbillon is the king of the Classic Fusion family. As the king, it comes in a larger 45mm wide case (that is still rather thin at around 9mm or so thick). What you see in this article are two versions of the watch. One is the Classic Fusion Skeleton Tourbillon 45mm in titanium, and the other is in black ceramic. Both contain movements made in-house by Hublot.

The Classic Fusion collection for replica Hublot came out in 2010, and we covered it here with additional details. There I talked about what the collection means, and more about the design. In a nutshell, you have a thematic return to original Hublot watches from the 1980s as well as a “classically inspired” version of the Big Bang case. Since then, the replica Classic Fusion has exploded with dozens of versions – more than we can keep track of. The case is elegant though futuristic and clearly masculine in its design.

Both in titanium or black ceramic, the Classic Fusion Skeleton Tourbillon is a stunner. There isn’t the inherent showiness of gold, but these are clearly high-end items once you see the movement. Though, with the modern looking angles, the movement is possibly more Spiderman in style.

I happen to find a Hublot replica watch in factory, it reminds me of Tag Heuer Monaco watches, they share the same case shape, but when compare them carefully, I have to admit I love watches like this. Take a little inspiration from antiquity, mix in traditional horology and add some modern design. Before you know it, you have some totally interesting and wild timepiece that does not fit into any particular box. This is the 2013 limited edition Hublot Antikythera SunMoon watch. Part calendar watch, part astronomical watch, this is horological obsession at its best.

The Hublot Tribute to Antikythera watch was debuted as a tribute to the 2,000 year old Greek Antikythera mechanical device that was found underwater off the coast of Greece in the early 20th century. The original device was a calendar of sorts and is the oldest known mechanical device to exist. Hublot’s in-house mastermind Mathias Buttet made it a personal project to recreate the mechanism of the Antikythera in the size of a timepiece. He did so and Hublot produced just four of them – never to be officially sold aside from  at one or two special auctions. So now, for 2014, Hublot honors their own Antikythera creation with a simpler  version called the Antikythera SunMoon.

Hublot hasn’t given us the size of the case, but as you can see this isn’t a small watch. Nor is it unwearable either. The cushion-shaped case is very interesting, and a new design in what is still relatively pure Hublot DNA. The case detailing is really interesting, and does offer the illusion of looking into the portal of a machine. The case is produced from titanium, and you can see the iconic Hublot “H” screws used in the corners of the case. Further, the Antikythera SunMoon is also known as the Hublot MP-08, as it is part of their “Masterpiece” watch collection.

One of the most interesting elements of the design is that the Antikythera has two crowns. And from a design perspective you can see how the crown guards lift up like wings to allow you to operate them. This watch literally wants to be Batman. Or maybe they are ears? The movement is actually pretty simple to use. Basically one crown is used for setting the time and winding the manually wound movement, and the other crown is exclusively used to adjust the calendar settings. And to mention that, the movement does have a tourbillon.

In my mind, to tell the time may be the least favorable part of the watch. Under all the cool stuff – namely the astronomical calendar hands – are not super easy to see hands for the hours and minutes. Having said that, I’ve seen worse, and reading the time isn’t terrible. This isn’t going to be your daily wear (or is it?). Actually, it would be interesting to wear this watch (or something like it) for a full year and see how it influences your life.
